Welcome to Junibacken in Stockholm for a magical Easter break! We’re celebrating Moomin’s 80th birthday by building a Moominhouse together with you. Plus, we’re offering theater performances, playful exhibitions, and daily departures of our magical Story Train.

Create a Moominhouse with us this Easter break!

The Moominhouse is a place for everyone, and we want to celebrate that important message as part of Junibacken’s tribute to the Moomins’ 80th anniversary. Together with you—our visitors—we’ll be creating our very own Moominhouse!

Using colorful Plus-Plus pieces and a big dose of imagination, we’ll create something truly unique. Once it’s finished, we’ll enter our creation into the international Moominhouse competition—hoping our work becomes part of something big!

A Moominhouse filled with Plus-Plus

This Easter break, we’re creating our very own Moominhouse together with you! Plus-Plus is a Danish toy with a unique shape that inspires endless creativity in both 2D and 3D. Plus-Plus BIG offers a safe and fun play environment for children from age 1 and up.

Moomin’s Play Valley

At Junibacken, you can step into Moomin’s Play Valley – Sweden’s largest Moomin playground! Slide down from the six-meter-tall Moominhouse, play inside the giant seashell, or go on an underwater adventure with the Haffsorkester. It’s the perfect place to play, laugh, and explore – together!

My Moominhouse

The Moominhouse is a place where everyone can be themselves. In that same spirit, we’ll be creating a shared Moominhouse together during the Easter break – built from colorful Plus-Plus pieces. Our creation will be entered into the international competition.
