Junibacken is located at Djurgården in Stockholm, by the water behind the Nordiska Museet and next to the Vasamuseet. The easiest way to get here is by public transport, but there are places to park in the vicinity as well. Our street address is Galärvarvsvägen 8.
Metro
The nearest station is Karlaplan in Östermalm. It is about a 15-minute walk from there to Junibacken.
Take the bus
The number 67 bus goes from Karlaplan. Get off at the stop called Nordiska Museet/Vasamuseet/Junibacken.
The number 69 bus goes from T-Centralen. Get off at the stop called Djurgårdsbron.
The number 76 bus goes from Slussen. Get off at the stop called Djurgårdsbron.
Take the tram
Line 7 goes from T-Centralen/Sergels torg. Get off at the stop called Nordiska Museet/Vasamuseet/Junibacken.
Take the boat
Waxholmsbolaget’s Djurgården ferry runs from Slussen all year round. The timetable is available at www.waxholmsbolaget.se.
In the summer you can also take a Strömma Kanalbolaget boat from Nybrokajen. There is more information available at: stromma.se/
M/S Emelie goes from Nybroviken, Hammarby Sjöstad and from Masthamnen at the Viking terminal. The timetable is available here.
Parking
Junibacken does not have its own car park, but there is a paid parking lot immediately to the right after Djurgårdsbron. It is about 100 metres from Junibacken and has 100 spaces. (You can only pay by card there.)
Are you coming in your own boat?
We have three moorings outside our veranda, which you are welcome to tie up at!
